R&SD-Statera has completed the construction of a 248 m2 multifunctional building at the CIFOR base in Yanonge. Mainly intended for office space, this building is part of the FORETS II project, financed by the European Union and implemented by CIFOR.

For this project, R&SD-Statera, in agreement with CIFOR, chose to install aluminum frames, manufactured directly on site.

Installation of frames, fitted with integrated insect screens.

The choice of aluminum is explained by the difficulty of obtaining certified wood in the Yangambi landscape for the manufacture of frame joinery.
