R&SD Construction SIA carried out an engineering and site supervision mission for the modernization of the G25 transformer pits at the Inga II hydroelectric power plant.

In addition to stability studies and the production of execution plans, R&SD carried out on-site execution control through the intermediary of an experienced delegated expert, with the following missions:

• Checking that the work complied with the plans and technical specifications,
• Checking the materials used,
• Reporting any discrepancies or non-conformities,
• Proposing alternative solutions validated by the design office, particularly in the event of unavailability of the prescribed materials on site.

This mission was carried out in collaboration with :

• VOITH (project manager for the electromechanical package)
• GKKE - Guillaume Krawczyk Electrical Engineering (technical coordination)
• Bureau Aerts (structural engineering)
• ABC Sodimel (construction work)
